This is a song I wrote years ago, but when Grace and Hagan visit his family's abbey, I realized it captured the mood I wanted to convey in this sentence (please keep in mind that it's not a professional recording):
Nothing was more beautiful than a black and white photo of an abbey with shafts of sunlight filtering through the dust and trees, like God was shining a spotlight on it.
